Abstract
Seised by Octavien Ngenzi, who was then standing trial on appeal, the urgent applications judge of the Paris Tribunal de grande instance dismissed his request seeking, in particular, the removal of the hearing reports published by the Collectif des parties civiles pour le Rwanda (CPCR) and a ban on any further publication until the conclusion of the trial. The judge notably held that "the principle of public hearings permits the publication of hearing reports, including on a website presented as that of a civil party to the proceedings".
