Abstract
The truth has still not been clarified on the attack on the Falcon 50 plane of the Rwandan president on April 6, 1994 in Kigali, which caused the death of twelve people, including three French, initiated a coup d'Etat, and served as a pretext to trigger the genocide of the Tutsi by accusing them of having committed it. Elements essential to conduct a scientific investigation have disappeared. These are the aircraft's two recorders, commonly referred to as "the black box", and the debris from the missiles and their launchers. The French soldiers, present for military cooperation, who went to the scene immediately after the crash, made investigation reports and took evidence, including flight parameter recorders (FDR) and conversations in the cockpit (CVR), other parts of the aircraft and debris from the projectiles that caused the aircraft to fall. Such pieces are held in Paris by the former Ministry of Cooperation or by the Ministry of Defense. They were not turned over to the investigating judge, nor requested by him.
