Abstract
If Pierre Péan's book on Rwanda is teeming with errors and approximations, while fitting without nuance in a very widely shared ethnicist vision, his most original contribution is to have reconstituted the links between the authorities in Kigali, victorious, and their European relays, the "White Liars", a lobby that he nicknamed "the RPF's black cabinet", and whose lies and intimidating practices he denounces.
