Colonel Armel Le Port of the French Marine Corps was tasked by General Mourgeon, head of the "Rwanda" cell within the general staff, with preparing fact sheets (see Duclert Commission report, p. 896). He dated the murder of the Didot couple and Maïer as occurring on April 8, 1994, whereas in a handwritten version,
he had originally dated it as April 7.
