* the assassinations of 6/7 April (see below). *
* - It was claimed in Paris that the ministers of *
* Agriculture, Finance, Information and Labour *
* (Nzamurambaho, Rungera, Rucogoza and *
* Ndasingwa) had also been killed. *
* 7 Apr 94 - President Habyarimana and Burundi President *
* Cyprien Ntaryamira were killed in a rocket *
* attack that destroyed their plane as they flew*
* back from peace talks late on April 6. *
* - Outgoing Prime minister Uwilingiyimana was *
* killed by soldiers in a separate incident on *
* the 7th. *
