- At the Security Council, a spokesperson for the RPF announces the formation of a new government. The RPF now controls almost the entire country, up to the security zone held by the French.
- The humanitarian catastrophe, however, continues, with more than a million refugees.

Au Conseil de sécurité, un porte-parole du FPR annonce la formation d'un nouveau gouvernement [on voit Claude Dusaïdi à l'ONU s'avancer devant un micro pour faire une déclaration]. Le FPR contrôle maintenant presque tout le pays jusqu'à la zone de sécurité tenue par les Français.
