KIGALI, July 10 (AFP) - The Rwandan government will sign a peace accord with rebels on Thursday, officials said Saturday.
The decision was made by the cabinet in a meeting led by President Juvenal Habyarimana, the officials said.
The government also agreed that a transitional government including members of the rebel Rwandan Patriotic Front will be formed 60 days after the peace accord is signed.
The agreement is designed to end two years of civil war in the central African nation.
The rebel front comprises minority Tutsis fighting a government dominated by Rwanda's Hutu majority.
