In the summer of 1994, over one million Tutsis were killed in one of the most horrific slaughters since the Second World War. Despite international efforts to bring the leaders of the genocide before a tribunal, powerful networks of fugitives operate to supply false documents and hasty escape routes. Filmed partly by hidden camera, this film contains evidence of Bishop Samuel Musabyimana's key role in the network of 'genocidairs'. "Nothing can ever explain the influence of a bishop openly in support of the genocide. That is incitement in its most pure form, and it succeeded", says Rakiya Omaar, director of African Rights. In July 2000 he was filmed in a seedy hotel in Johannesburg, with two Rwandan bodyguards, a stack of false passports and a bag full of US dollars.
