KIGALI, April 7 (Reuter) - Heavy fighting broke out around Rwanda's
presidential palace on Thursday, hours after the presidents of Rwanda
and Burundi were killed in a rocket attack that destroyed their plane,
residents said.
Explosions rocked Kigali but residents could not immediately tell who
was fighting whom.
The Defence Ministry said in a statement that the assassins who shot
down the presidential plane were still unidentified.
